Day One of CTIA WIRELESS 2006 starts with a bang, as Sprint Nextel Chief Operating Officer and CTIA-The Wireless Association® Chairman Len Lauer opens the keynote session with his insightful observations on the state of the wireless industry. CTIA-The Wireless Association® President and CEO Steve Largent, hosts the day's program and conducts an enlightening question and answer session with one of telecommunications' most influential figures, FCC Chairman Kevin Martin. Also appearing on the keynote stage are Karim Khoja, CEO of Roshan Afghanistan, Walt Disney Company CEO Robert Iger as he launches the company's new wireless service, Disney Mobile, and Time Warner Cable President and CEO Glenn Britt discusses the company's excitement over the prospects of integrating video and wireless.
